About PurOps

The software never followed the chef past the loading dock. So a chef built it.

PurOps, LLC builds operational intelligence for organizations that feed, supply and serve many people at once. We started where the founder spent his career: the private-club kitchen.

Every feature in Purdir started as a problem I had to solve on a Monday morning.

KD has spent more than 35 years leading kitchens in luxury hotels, resorts and private clubs across North America, Europe, the Caribbean, the Middle East, Asia and Africa, including as Executive Chef of a Platinum Club of America. He trained at Institut Paul Bocuse and has run food and beverage operations for Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton, Relais & Châteaux and Fairmont.

In every one of those kitchens the same thing was true: the purchasing software stopped at the loading dock. Prices crept invoice by invoice, banquets were sold on last year's numbers, rebates sat unclaimed, and the chef found out at month-end, when it was too late to do anything but explain.

PurOps is where that operating experience meets AI. Purdir, the first product, is live in production at an Atlanta private golf club and is being built there, on real invoices, with the people who use it.

Real kitchens first

Nothing ships until it has run on a working club's invoices, counts and event orders. The pilot kitchen is the test suite.

Numbers you can defend

Every figure Purdir produces can be traced to an invoice line, a count or a contract. If it cannot be defended in front of a GM, it does not get shown.
